Dan Wangler - Sales Executive with Nearly Three Decades of Experience
A sales professional with a proven track record, Dan Wangler has worked in this field since 1996. After beginning his career with Xerox and then working for Verity and Netegrity, Dan Wangler became the central region sales director at Veracode, Inc., in Burlington, Massachusetts, in 2010.
As sales director, Mr. Wangler collaborated with East and West Coast teams to create the company’s sales go-to-market playbook. He was instrumental in the company closing deals with Ameriprise, Best Buy, Ceridian, Deloitte, and TransUnion, among others. He was also integral to helping the startup increase its revenue to $37 million in 2012 and then $60 million in 2013. For his work with Veracode, Mr. Wangler was included in the company’s President’s Club for three consecutive years beginning.
Mr. Wangler remained with Veracode until 2014, when he joined Oracle as an account executive. Over the last 11 years, he has spearheaded direct revenue sales for Java security and virtualization technologies. He cultivates and maintains C-suite-level relationships by negotiating complex license deals with the CIO, CTO, CFO, and the company’s legal teams. He has consistently ranked as the top revenue producer in the Java Global Business Unit for multiple fiscal years. In 2022, he was named Top Salesperson Companywide.
Outside of work, Dan Wangler’s interests include golf, travel, food, and basketball. He is also a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, and currently resides in Chicago.
